The Vigiljoch offers a vacation as it was in the past – car-free and only accessible by cable car. There are hardly any waiting times at the ski lifts and in the ski huts you can make yourself comfortable.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Due to renovation work, the Vigiljoch cable car is closed from 02 November 2022 until the end of July 2023. The chairlift and ski lifts will also be out of service during this time. More detailed information on the opening hours of the restaurants can be found on the website of the cable car.

South Tyrolean specialties and warm South Tyrolean hospitality await guests in the numerous ski huts of the ski areas in Lana and the surrounding area. If the outside temperatures do not allow you to sit outside on deck chairs along the sun terraces, the entire family can also find a place in a cozy wooden parlor, where a traditional tiled stove warms guests and little skiers.

Merano 2000 and Schwemmalm
Merano 2000 is located near the spa town of Merano/Meran, just a few minutes away by cable car, bus or car. Luckis Kinderland, the outdoor play park with its magic carpet and practice area, awaits younger visitors right at the mountain station. This is also true of the Schwemmy Kinderland in the Schwemmalm ski area in Ultental Valley. Both ski areas offer professional ski kindergartens and ski schools for children. While parents enjoy the local lifestyle and cuisine on the sun terraces of the ski huts, in both the Kinderlands children can playfully learn how to handle snow and skis.
