Kränzelhof in Tscherms/Cermes, in Lana and its surroundings near Meran/Merano, brings together historic architecture, garden design and winemaking. The winery's history dates back to 1350. Today, wines are produced here according to organic farming principles, and you can taste and purchase them directly at the estate. The seven gardens of Kränzelhof are particularly worth exploring, covering an area of approximately 20,000 square metres. At their heart lies a labyrinth made of grapevines. Different garden areas featuring terraces, an amphitheatre and water features invite you to wander and take your time. Among the plants, trees and vines, you'll discover sculptures and installations by contemporary artists. A walk through the gardens is therefore also an opportunity to encounter modern art.
Special guided garden tours offer insights into the origins and philosophy behind the gardens. Winemaking also plays an important role: during wine tastings and guided tours of the historic wine cellar, you can discover the wines produced at this organically managed estate.
