Walking along snow-free hiking trails in the pristine winter landscape is one of the best ways of enjoying the snow. The Brandis Waalweg trail winds its way through orchards, vineyards and a sparse wooded forest, joining up with the Skulpturenwanderweg sculpture trail that runs through Lana. From the Gaulschlucht gorge in Lana, 33 sculptures line the Skulpturenwanderweg trail leading up to the Falschauer biotope. Just a short ride by cable car to the top of Mount Vigiljoch, several trails lead through the snow and larch forests for is a whole day’s enjoyment in the snow-covered landscape.
