Mount Vigiljoch - St. Vigilius church - Naturnser Alm

This family tour leads over pleasant mountain paths with moderate ascents to the scenic Naturnser Alp.

General description
Family hike starting at the Vigiljoch mountain station, from where numerous hiking trails lead to unique places such as the St. Vigilius church. This hike is particularly beautiful in autumn, when larches and blueberry bushes glow brightly.
Route description
From Lana, the cable car and chair lift take you up to the local mountain, Vigiljoch. From the mountain station on the left, a wide gravel path leads to the Jocher inn and the little church of St. Vigilius, a popular excursion destination with an incomparable panorama. Between the inn and the church, the trail leads downhill to a fork. From here, follow the sign "Naturnser Alm" and climb uphill on a wide forest path (markings 30 and 9).

Via marker 9, the more panoramic variant leads in the direction of the Naturnser Hochwart.
The trail runs below the Rauhen Bühel. At the next fork, follow the 9 B mark to the right and reach the Naturnser Alm pasture via the alpine pastures.

The way back is via the trail with marker 30 through larch forests, which joins trail no. 9 and leads back to the little church. From here it is not far to the top station of the chairlift. Alternatively, the trail with marker 34 leads downhill to the top station of the cable car.
