As part of the South Tyrol CleanUP Days, a guided CleanUP Tour on Vigiljoch will take place on September 20. The tour will be accompanied by Andrea from Summit Foundation, a Swiss environmental organisation that has been committed to protecting mountain landscapes for over 25 years. Along selected hiking trails, participants will collect litter together, making a valuable contribution to preserving nature.
After a welcome and a short introduction at the valley station of the Vigiljoch cable car, the CleanUP kits will be distributed and participants will be divided into groups. Afterwards, the group will take the cable car up to Vigiljoch, where litter will be collected along selected hiking trails. At the end of the clean-up activity, all participants are invited to enjoy a shared lunch at the Seespitz restaurant. The collected waste will then be brought to the mountain station, weighed, and the tour will conclude with a small award ceremony.
